Gandhi is a movie from 1982. It is a film about a man called Gandhi. He is a man who fought against India`s independence from the British Empire. His cause was to fight by not actually fighting, in a non-violence method. After a while his wish came true, and India got the independence.
In the end Gandhi was assassinated. He was murdered because Gandhi wanted the Muslims and Hindus to live together in India. The man who killed Gandhi was named Nathuram Godse, and was a Hindu. He did not want to live in the same country as the Muslims. The assassin waned that just the Hindus should live in India, and the Muslim should be removed to Pakistan. Therefore he killed Gandhi. In the final, Gandhi was cremated and the ashes were spread in the river Jamura. Gandhi was an interest film. It is an instructive film, which is worth seeing.
